What's in Marla's Gym

I've been reading Marla's blog . Marla is a 46 year old woman who works from home, and interestingly enough helps with edition on Project Gutenberg. At her highest weight, she was 260. She's lost 60 pounds from 2003 to 2005 but has been plateaued ever since. In her words, she's quite interested in building up her strength during this plateau and not taking it too personally.

So, I was reading about her latest pushup success story, which initially got my attention, then I stumbled over to her "what's in my gym" page.

I laughed my ass off when I read her point #6

A jumprope that I'm not going to use until they invent a much more serious type of sports bra.

Rob Coopers Fat burning tips In 1990 Rob weighed 475 pounds and was able to burn almost 300 lbs of fat in just two and a half years. Rob does weight management coaching from his office in Edmonton Alberta Canada. Rob's diet is based on a "System Specific Organic Whole Food" line of foods along with various fat burning, muscle building tips from Tom Venuto. Tom's Philosophy is very similar to Rob's and he's happy to recommend them

Oh ha ha! Let me tell you something, that is no joke about the sports bra! I had no idea when I bought it that there would be such an obstacle (two of them) to my using it. That exercise is likely to be forever in the fantasy realm.

You know, I just recently deleted the "best of" link, perhaps I had better try to restore it.
