The answer:
Yes…change your internal state externally.
Join me this week when I share my insights on how to change your state prior to training.
[Rob's Note:] I know that when I get changed into my gym gear, it's time to go to work. Just putting on my gym shoes, my shirt and pants puts me into a state of "work time" and I just plain lift. I know how I look in the mirror and what my past workouts were like while wearing my "gear". Conversly, if I'm in some clothes that are not flattering, or don't match, or whatever, I'm not as compelled to lift as hard or as much because I just don't feel good about how I look. There is a lot to be said about having comfortable clothes when you train that also make you look happy about yourself.
