Former Fat Guy does Boot Camp
So I registered for my club's new 6 week fitness program called "Boot Camp". It's loosely based on the Navy Seals training program. I looked at the Navy Seals prep workout a few years ago and thought to myself, "holy shit, I could never do that". I guess it was quite a few years ago now that I think about it. I looked again when Club Fit announced this program and this time I thought, "that wouldn't be so bad, I could do that".So we started today. An hour and a half first thing in the AM (6 am to 7:30) 3x a week. Running, drills, stairs etc. Lots of cardio.
My goal is to drop another 2% bodyfat over the course of the 6 weeks.
I know I'll have to change my diet again to include a higher percentage of carbs in the form of whole grains, oatmeal, flax. I also plan to add Almond Milk to my shakes and increase my intake of Udo's Oil.
It goes without saying that my intake of Sunrider's Sport Caps, NuPlus and Fortune Delight will increase as well to support recovery.
I'll let you know how things go with a weekly entry rather than daily.
oh, I usually monitor my weight and body fat every week or two weeks, but I'm not going to even look until after completion of the camp. We did fitness assessments with a trained professional before starting the camp, so all measurements were a precise science using bioanalytics measuring equipment.
oh, along with the BF goal, other goals include increasing my chins. Our workout on Wed will be the benchmark for dips, chins, pushups and cardio drills, so I'll set other goals on Wed.
