Kenny, have you seen this benchmark challenge for pushups yet?

how many pushups can you do in 2 minutes?

I've got to get my benchmark number tomorrow and record it

I've done this one, how long does it take you to do 100 pushups and I'm now training for speed, to beat it.

6215 + 70 = 6285

I slacked in the last week.  Just plain forgot about the pushup challenge.

9 of those were with my son on my back.  He weighs 45 lbs.  I didn't think I could do any pushups, but I guess I was wrong.  It made doing the 51 after that much easier without his weight.

6345 + 45 = 6390

These 45 were done on an upside down bosu, which is more challenging.  I didn't do too well on the last 3-4 as I was feeling toasty.  I did 175 pushups for today!!!  Yay, the most I've ever done.  I hope I can do pushups tomorrow.

I just got back from a one day test drive of a new gym.  Darlene goes there.  She did her workout but I had to do a membership evaluation thing with the girl, so I only had 20 minutes to do a workout.  Decided to do pushups and the 2 minute timed push up challenge .  I did 69 pushups in 2 minutes.

Total pushups for today was 150

6390 + 150 = 6540

we've got a long ways to go.  Need more people doing pushups

6540 + 36 + 17 + 23 = 6616

Doris = 36

Hannalee (my 8 yr old daughter) = 17

Sean (my 5 yr old son) = 23

This was done on Cleanse Day #1.  I did nothing on Cleanse Day #2.  Yes, I know weak, but I was assembling furniture, playing with kids, cleaning the church, regular mommy & house stuff, and slept.  Okay, I didn't really make a real effort, truth be told.  Just excuses.

Cool, I did 50.  It was my first day of the Seven Minute Muscle Workout, so I only did 50 to warm up while I was walking

I'm feeling way weaker and not sure why I couldn't do more today.  I felt weak, though, I got enough sleep.

Right on you guys.  That's how it's done, 5 and 10 at a time!  They dont even have to all be in a row.  I do them in sets of 10 or 25 or what have you.

Do 5 or 10 a day, then after a few weeks, do 5 or 10 and then rest a minute and do 5 or 10 more.

Stronger and stronger, one pushup at a time!
