eTownPlaya (Kenny) informed me that he accomplished the feat of doing 1000 pushups in a single week so I thought I'd create another challenge.
This challenge is to perform 1000 pushups in a single 7 day period. You can do the pushups in an combination of numbers over the course of the week, to total 1000.
Make sure to enter them into the group pushup challenge as well.
For this challenge, I suggest recording your daily numbers here in this topic thread for a 7 day period, just to keep track of them.
I'll take this on as well Kenny.

if we each do 1000 a week, we should be able to crack 25,000 pushups in less than 8 weeks. Not sure how long I can keep up that kind of intensity and volume. We'll see
you're inspiring buddy!

Week of January 26th through February 1st, I'm taking this on.
Will keep this one post and edit it daily with pushups
Monday – 250
Tue – off
Wed – 200 (450 total)
Thur – 200 (650 total)
Fri – 25 (675 total)
Sat – 250 (925 total)
Sun – 80 (1005 total)
Completed the challenge and the day’s not done yet,but I have a LOT of eating ahead of me because it’s a re-feed day. Tricky training on a constant full stomach

Okay, I just did 3 more pushups that puts me to 1000 pushups from 7 pm Monday (1/26) to Thurs (1/29) 4 pm in 69 hrs.
I'm going to see if I can get to 2K pushups or more by Mon (2/2) 7 pm. I'm feeling a bit weaker and unable to do really more than 30 pushups at one time.

Norm, well done man. Just knowing that it's possible makes all the difference. This club is getting less and less exclusive as more people take on the challenge.
you Norm, are now a role model!
I'm glad!
