10 Pushups a Day Challenge

This is for those just starting and wanting to begin with 10 pushups a day.  Challenge yourself to do 10 pushups in a day in as few sets as possible.

Something like:

3 pushups
rest
3 Pushups
rest
2 Pushups
rest
2 Pushups to complete the 10 pushups.

State your goal here and then track your results each day.  Once you can do more than 10 in a day, move to the 25 pushups a day goal.

I did 10 push-ups today! So amazing… I haven't done a push-up in many, many years. #10 was very tough, but it felt good to finally do something. It didn't take long at all, so there's no excuse I can think of not to do them daily!

I did 5 push-ups today.  I intend to get to 10 push-ups a day by my 38th birthday on January 20th.

Yell

I squeezed 11 push-ups in tonight. I don't know what the muscle is called (on the opposite side of the arm as the biceps… but it sure hurts like a SOB tonight! I think that means something is working??

Surprised

That's your tricep muscle. It's actually larger than your bicep and makes up most of the size of the arm believe it or not. Pushups work the chest and the tricep muscle, (and your core and your back to a good degree)

Missed doing any push-ups yesterday but got 10 done today! It seems to be a bit easier already!
